The Pen body camera spy camera is designed to look like an ordinary designer pen, however this one cleverly conceals a 420 TVL remote head color CCD camera with pinhole lens. Powered by an external battery, the VP-400 (Video Pen Camera) will enable the user (when connected to a video recorder - NOT included), to covertly record live video as viewed by the camera lens ingeniously concealed next to the clip of the pen.

Do you need to order a separate video recorder and if so how much is it ?

We do not offer a portable recorder for it, but you can use any video recorder that supports a standard RCA video input. If you prefer a full system, you can also consider a wearable digital spy camera from our store.

In general terms this camera has a video output and a power connection. You will connect the battery pack to the power connection on the hidden camera and then the video output connects to a separate video recorder (not included).
