Ideal for your home emergency kit and yet totally portable for when going outdoors. This solar powered battery power bank can be charged using electricity or solar rays! Just clip the portable USB battery pack and charge it while hiking. Then enjoy extra juice for your phone when chilling out by the fire at the camp site.
Keep the battery bank charged so you are ready for any emergency or power outage and if the grid is off for a while, you can rest assured you will not be disconnected from the world. You got the power of solar that keeps you going!
The trendy and rugged design make this battery pack ideal for outdoor activities. Two USB outputs allow you to connect up to 2 separate devices at the same time, so you can charge your iPhone and your tablet too!
Charging time is 10 hours when plugged in and 20 hours when charging via solar. A 1amp ensures compatibility with any phone or tablet, including iPhone, iPad, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, and various MP3 and MP4 players. Other electronic devices may be charged too, just ensure your device can be powered via USB and check device's power consumption for compatibility.
Note: The amount of charge provided to a device depends on the consumption of that particular device. To calculate simply divide 5000 by the mA battery capacity your device. For instance an iPhone 6 has a 1810mA battery; so you would say 5000/1810mA = 2.7, This means, you could charge your iPhone 6 up to 2.7 times with 1 fully charged power pack!
I bought a couple of these but can not get them to work . can you please help. Direction came in Chinese.
Simply use included USB cable to connect it to your computer or USB wall adapter to charge. Be sure to use the small USB plug on the charger and larger USB goes into your computer or adapter.
You can also simply set the unit in the sun to charge, but that will take longer to achieve a full charge. This feature is useful while out and about at which point just be sure that the solar cell is exposed to sunlight.
