The CCTV-MA-SD985 is a motion activated camera that is hidden in an ordinary smoke detector. The high resolution color camera that has been integrated in to this smoke detector looks directly down offering you a 3 foot diameter (6 feet total) field of view.

The strategic placement of the camera lens in this hidden camera make it perfect for monitoring cash registers and other small but sensitive spaces.

Operation is simple and video recording can be easily achieved by connecting this smoke detector hidden camera to the video and alarm inputs of an event recorder (sold separately). Now you can effectively record and review activity in a given area with minimal effort.

Since the outer appearance of this camera is disguised with a common smoke detector never would anyone suspect this smoke detector to actually be a motion triggered surveillance camera that only begins recording when it detects movement.
